Cherry Bud "Pretty & Planted" Earrings
The Pretty and Planted collection is of the sweetest flower blends, radiating in view as if they taste like sticky honey, berry blue, and sugar. The first pieces I made stemmed from celebrations, from flower arrangements given to me then, with similar love I created for friends and their next life journey’s. In warmth is a celebratory extension to such lovely ceremonies, I preserved the preciousness into a shareable keepsake.
The floral earrings feature a mix of colorful little petals and blossoms. I carefully dry each petal before delicately arranging them. Each dried petal protected in thick like sap holding their dainty peculiarities. The floral collection reminds me of summertime in Michigan, I can remember many mosquitoes, plenty of secret swim spots, and all the pretty romantic little things in life. Wild and precious, choose what makes your heart bloom.
My favorite words, poems, and lyrics are of the floral aesthetics. I gravitate to the tenacious superpowers of growth and healing in the tiny seeds and flowers. They tried to bury us.
