Sorry for the Wait

I feel like a Drake album or maybe it wasLil' Wayne. Now I have to go listen to Drake's new mixtape while I write.. any who starting a business is very complicated! I knew a little coming into the field of online entrepreneurship, but I am the type of person who needs to be fully prepared for any situation. If I am traveling on vacation or for business, I will pack 8 pairs of shoes just incase. In my purse on any given day, I make sure to always I have my mac, Ipad, calendar, and sketch pad (Yes! I have a huge purse!). Sometimes, I feel the need to carry my beading carryon or makeup bag as well. Who am I kidding, I really do travel with three bags anywhere I go: to my moms, to the grocery store, etc. I just want to make sure I have whatever I need for inspiration.

For my business or anything new I do, that means I need to do my research. Studying hard, rummaging other blogs, looking at other online stores and making sure I have checklists to make it all come together. About 4 months ago, I honestly didn't know where to even start this journey and I assumed it started with a product and a need for that item. That is the truth, but there is so much more that goes into that one amazing product before it even reaches a shop.
A huge inspiration and my former boss, showed me the ropes and taught me how she started her business. She is also an entrepreneur that started with a cute, spunky blog that shared her love for sewing. It then turned into a design, pattern and fabric shop that encompasses her beautiful family and friends. I decided to take all of her advice while working with her for two years and take a similar path.

One of the many important pieces of advice she shared, is being to start with one great product! Enlisting one great product starts with the logistics meaning: copyrights, business license, marketing, branding, and packaging. The subcategories that go into each of the above can get overwhelming quickly. That does even mention the product which is kind of important. The product needs materials, labels, and photography, but if I learned anything about the art of business from my previous boss, it was her meticulous approach and I believe that is why she is successful.

AND ALL THE ABOVE MEANS MONEY (except for Drake's mixtape, which is on Spotify at the moment).

An investment of time which is also money and I would like to personally thank you so much for your patience! I am almost done with the harvesting and gathering and am excited to start distributing, which is coming very soon! So please be excited and stay tuned! There are two products that I am working on at the moment and they both are trendy wearables. I am straying a little from the original plan, but I am putting my heart and soul into each!

SNEAK PEAK:
STAY TUNED!!
*Coming Soon* A Floral Off the Shoulder Top!

I can't wait to see the finished product, name, brand, and all. Change one word in blog to dispersed towards end. And I will totally pay and use the finished product. I am excited!
